Private Konya Excursion from Cappadocia with Lunch

Our guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Cappadocia at 08:30am to begin our journey to Konya. Our first stop will be the grand Sultanhani Caravanserai, one of the largest on the historic Silk Road. This 13th-century monument is a fascinating glimpse into the past, and our guide will share insights about its significance and the Silk Road’s history.

After exploring Sultanhani, we will drive for another 1.5 hours to reach the Mevlana Museum. This site is the mausoleum of the famous mystic and poet Rumi, known as Mevlana in Turkish. The museum houses his tomb and a collection of relics from his life, including manuscripts, hand-written copies of the Koran, musical instruments, and art from the Seljuk era. Following our visit to the museum, we will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

Our final stop will be the Ince Minareli Medrese, a theological school known for its stunning portal gate, a masterpiece of Seljuk architecture. The tour will conclude around 17:00 – 17:30, and we will return you to your hotel.
